The focus of the programme is to improve the practice of information security with the special focus on computer forensics.
It also equips students to undertake more specialised learning in critical technical skills, intergrate specific case situations and apply various computer forensic techniques in the investigation of cyber crime.
Section 1
Admission Requirements
- A National Senior Certificate with an endorsement for admission to a Higher Certificate and/or Diploma and/or Degree; or
- A National Certificate Vocational (NCV) at NQF Level 4 within an associated field and levels of achievements; or
- Mature Age Exemption for students above the age of 23 as set out in the Higher Education Regulations; or
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
